The following are dance studios and dance instructors that teach ballroom and other related dance styles in the Colorado Springs and Pikes Peak region. In most cases below, there is not room to list the entire dance repertoires of each teacher and studio. However, in the "Dance Styles Taught" column, we try to give you an idea of what types of dances the instructor teaches: The Ballroom Dance Style usually consists of the following dances: 1. RYTHM: Rumba, Cha-Cha, Samba, Mambo, Bolero,East Coast Swing, west coast swing 2. LATIN: Rumba, Cha-cha, Samba, Mambo, Jive 3. SMOOTH: Foxtrot, Tango, Waltz, VienneseWwaltz 4. INTERNATIONAL: Foxtrot, Tango, Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Quick Step Please call the instuctor or studio to get specific information regarding the dances taught. The Country Dance Style usually consists of the following dances: West Coast Swing, Cha-Cha, Country Waltz, Two-step, Night Club Two, Country Swing, East Coast Swing, Polka (three-step), etc., Please call the studio or instructor for specific information regarding dances taught. There are many Other Related Dance Styles in the partners dance genre.
